CVM is committed to the safety and well-being of our volunteers and the communities with whom we work. We believe that we need to be above reproach in our behavior, both on and off the mission field. This course addresses physical and sexual abuse involving CVM volunteers or staff. It is designed to raise your awareness of potential dangers of abuse on short-term mission trips and help keep you and others safe.

Objectives:
By the end of this course, learners will
- Understand precautions that CVM takes to aid the well-being of our short-term volunteers
- Know three guidelines for being safe and keeping others safe
- Know what to do in the event of witnessing or experiencing abuse during a CVM trip
